XPC offers a platform for makers and tinkerers to come together and work their magic.


Yellow Badge

Join any Level 1 Workshop to be experienced with the hand-held tools, static machines, and safety guidelines of the workspace. After which, you will be able to access the workshop space excluding heavy machines.

Green Badge

Users must have the Yellow Badge in order to be eligible for the Green Badge. Join the Heavy Machine Training to use the industrial Panel Saw, and surface Planer/Thicknesser. After which, you will be able to have access to both the workshop space and heavy machines

Red Badge

Join the Metal Crafting 101 workshop to learn about different types of metals, metalworking techniques like cutting, grinding, welding joints and finishing. Upon completion you will gain access to the Metalworking shop and get to grinding!

The pre-requisites for using our Makerspace is to attend any course with a Yellow Badge! During the course, we will orientate you to our facilities and safety protocols, equipping you with the knowledge to operate the tools and machines safely in a responsible, competent and safe manner. You will also be able to bring your finished product home!


After attending our course, you would be registered as a member in our database, which would allow you to use our Makerspace on either a daily, weekly or monthly pass.


Our Operating hours are as follows:

Monday to Saturday: 10.00am to 6.30pm

Closed on Sunday and Public Holidays

A free tour of the facility is conducted every Friday and Saturday at 2.30pm


Machines and power tools available*:


Mitre saw, Drill press, Orbital sander, Plunge Router, Cordless hand drill, circular saw, Grinding wheel , Biscuit Jointer, Jigsaw, Bandsaw, Scroll saw, Belt/Disc Sander Panel Saw, Surface Planer/Thicknesser


Welding, blacksmith and tinsmith equipment, Metal pipe bender, Metal sheet bender, Metal Sheet roller, Arc welder, Mig welder, Chop Saw.


*All equipment are subject to availability and serviceability.

All users should bring their own consumables such as drill bits, driver bits, router bits, sanding belts and sheets, saw blades and all other ironmongery.


Materials available for purchase:

Indonesian plywood of various thickness, pine wood planks, MDF, Particle boards, Birch Plywood

Other types of wood material can be ordered through us.


Users are also encourage to bring their own materials.

    • This allows you access during our opening hours everyday for 30 days
    • Student rate is available at $200.

  • Storage Rental
  • $10monthly
    • We have storage available for rent to store your personal tools/materials on a weekly or monthly basis.
    • Storage lockers are available starting from $10-$30 weekly and  $30-$80 Monthly.
    • A $50.00 refundable security deposit is required for rental.
    • Storage is subject to availability. Terms & conditions apply.

Safety is our number 1 concern, we provide personal protection equipment such as safety goggles and earmuffs for loan at no cost for usage with our machines and tools. Do remember to dress appropriately when handling materials and tools, such as wearing covered shoes and no loose clothing.


Respect the community – our community come from all over the world, and we encourage you to exercise basic and common courtesy as our MAKE facility is a shared space.
