The workshop was an eye-opener on leather crafting. Izzat was generous with all the knowledge on leather crafting and answered all my qns to the best of his abilities. You can clearly see that he has got a wealth of experience doing this.

I just wish the workshop was longer so I could eventually make my own version of a cardholder. As a whole, it was an amazing experience.

The workshop was very hands on and fun. I learnt a lot on leather crafting. I was able to use the tools and techniques taught to make leather products on my own because of the excellent coaching and guidance from the very experienced and friendly instructor. This is an excellent workshop to attend.

I came for this workshop with my friend with both of us having completely no experience in working with leather. However, thanks to instructors Izzat and Afiq and their patient and systematic way of teaching, we picked up the techniques in a relatively short time. Do sign up to learn the basics of leather-working with these two fantastic teachers!

Thank you Izzat and Afiq, dedicated leather artisans who display passion and impeccability in their creative handicrafts, for conducting “Getting started with leather” workshop. I was first introduced to various basic leather tools followed by having hands on experience to practice cutting vegetable tanned leather before starting on the 3 leather products that I was going to make during this workshop, a coin purse, name card holder and keychain. Izzat was very patient in demonstrating the double needle hand stitching technique and creating holes using the diamond chisel, giving us many opportunities to work on our project and giving us tips along the way while correcting our technique. After we finished stitching, we learnt to burnish and finish our product that is ready to be taken home 🙂 I really enjoyed this workshop and am now ready to embark on my creative journey!
